The city of Gothenburg is a busy tourist destination, offering a variety of culture, history and amusement. During the time of the meeting, the Gothenburg Christmas Town is taking place offering spectacular Christmas lightning all over the city center, shopping, and a special Christmas Market, including reindeer, at the amusement park Liseberg just 300 metres from the conference venue. If you want to extend your stay, Gothenburg offers easy access to a beautiful archipelago. Gothenburg is a small and compact city with everything within walking distance. The social program will include informal options for young researchers in addition to the ordinary receptions and dinners.
Gothenburg has an international airport with direct international flights from all major hubs in Europe. There is a 30-minute shuttle bus service from the airport running every 15 minutes with a stop close to the conference hotel.
We warmly welcome you to Gothenburg.
